Weekend Rundown: National Records Fall!

Sydney McLaughlin Improves Own #2 All-Time 300m

Full results and coverage from the Molloy Stanner Games (NY)

Olympian Sydney McLaughlin ran 37.11 in the 300m on Saturday to displace her own No. 2 all-time mark in the event. Only Francena McCorory has run faster as a prep; she set the national high school record of 36.96 in 2006.

McLaughlin ran 37.49 in 2015, which still stands as the national sophomore class record and is now the third-fastest performance in prep history behind her new PR and McCororoy's record.

Also featured in the interview is Kyree Johnson, who won the boys 300m in 33.85 to rank U.S. No. 4 this year.
