About Me

Graduated from Marquette High School in 2000. Attended UMKC for undergrad, graduating spring of 2005. Coached the next 6 years on the High School level:Marquette High School Fall of 2005 thru Fall of 2010 working with XC (multiple All-State finishers, top 3 team finish, as well as class 4 girls individual champ)Lindbergh High School girls track Spring 2007 - worked with long/triple jump and high jumpMarquette High School boys/girls track Spring 2009 - worked with high jump and pole vaultWindsor High School (Imperial, MO) boys/girls track Spring 2010 and Spring 2011 - pole vault coach, assisted with sprints (multiple state qualifiers in the vault, Conference and District champions both boys and girls in vault)Earned a Level 1 Certification with USATF Coaching in Jan 2007. College coaching experience:William Woods University (NAIA) Fall 2011 - Spring 2013 - graduate assistant coach in XC and both indoor/outdoor track working with distance runners while obtaining my Masters degree in Athletic Administration and Activities, a 2 year program (multiple All-Americans as well as a National Champion, AMC Men and Women Indoor/Outdoor Track Champions both years) I continue to train myself as my focus has fallen on the longer distances such as the marathon. As of the end of 2012 I've completed 8 marathons, with my best being a 2:30:02 at the 2011 New Orleans Mardi Gras Rock and Roll marathon where I finished 4th overall.
