30 Bobcats Make the Grade

The Big Sky Conference announced the members of the 2010-11 Winter All-Academic teams on Tuesday. Bobcat Track and Field landed a remarkable 30 student-athletes on the list for their efforts in the classroom.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded the following minimum requirements: participated in at least half the team's competitions, achieved a 3.2 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at the conclusion of the most recently completed term and completed at least one academic term as his or her current Big Sky Institution.

“It's always wonderful to have so many student-athletes earns this honor,” said head coach Dale Kennedy. “This particular group truly exemplifies what it means to be a student-athlete.”
