Montana high school track and field athletes posted several personal records at meets held April 21-25.

Blake Hardy (Frenchtown) ran 12.46 in the 100 meters at the Quad meet featuring Sentinel, Big Sky, Frenchtown and Loyola on April 21, improving from her previous best of 12.60. The mark sets a school record for Frenchtown High School and places Hardy fifth in the state rankings among 1,060 athletes. Hardy won the event against 22 competitors.

Morgan Kindopp (Sidney) cleared 12-9 in the pole vault at the Gold Strike Invitational on April 25, bettering her previous mark of 12-6. The senior now leads Montana with 234 vaulters ranked and set a Sidney High School record. Kindopp placed first among 13 competitors.

McKinleigh Doherty (Jefferson, Boulder) clocked 12.44 in the 100 meters at Helena Small Schools on April 21, dropping from 12.70 set in April 2026. The sophomore ranks fourth statewide and second among 263 sophomores after winning the race with 34 runners. Doherty also cleared 5-4 in the high jump, improving from 5-2.

Sierra Wilcox (Shields Valley, Wilsall) ran 12.78 in the 100 meters at the Gallatin Valley Invitational on April 21, cutting her time from 13.05. The sophomore established a school record and ranks 17th statewide, fourth among sophomores, after placing second in a field of 64. Wilcox also ran 26.59 in the 200 meters, down from 26.69.

Eva McKernan (Loyola Sacred Heart, Missoula) posted 12.84 in the 100 meters at the Quad meet on April 21, improving from 13.23 set in April 2026. The freshman ranks 22nd among 1,060 state athletes and third among 359 freshmen after finishing second in the 22-runner field.

Mayzie Yoakam (Glasgow) cleared 11-0 in the pole vault at the Scottie Dual on April 22, bettering her previous height of 10-6. The junior ranks eighth in Montana and third among 23 junior vaulters while setting a Glasgow High School record. Yoakam won the event among four competitors.

Naomi Lee (Sentinel, Missoula) vaulted 11-6 at the Quad meet on April 21, improving from 11-3. Lee ranks seventh among 234 Montana vaulters and won the competition with 14 athletes entered.

Kassidee McKern (Hamilton) cleared 5-2 in the high jump at the Columbia Falls Iceberg Invitational on April 25, up from her previous best of 5-0. The sophomore ranks ninth among 309 Montana high jumpers and third among 73 sophomores after winning the 16-athlete field. McKern also vaulted 9-0, improving from 7-0.

Peyton Wiening (Belgrade) ran 12.87 in the 100 meters at the Gallatin Valley Invitational on April 21, cutting her time from 13.25 set in April 2026. The senior ranks 26th statewide and third among 62 seniors after placing third in the 64-runner field. Wiening also clocked 16.69 in the 100 hurdles, down from 17.41.

Nellie Dickemore (Hamilton) posted 27.12 in the 200 meters at the Columbia Falls Iceberg Invitational on April 25, improving from 27.59 set in March 2026. The sophomore ranks 38th among 807 state athletes and eighth among 190 sophomores after placing second in a field of 36.

Elly Poser (Laurel) ran 13.05 in the 100 meters at the Gold Strike Invitational on April 25, bettering her April 2026 time of 13.23. The sophomore ranks 43rd statewide and sixth among sophomores after placing fifth in the 61-runner field.
