From top to bottom, the Class of 2027 is scary good both on and off the track. The sophomore class was so exceptional across all three national championships last month, holding their own against the experienced upperclassmen and notching multiple upsets.
For the next two years, these underclassmen phenoms will dominate the high school ranks as they win titles, shatter records, and leave their mark on the sport.
On the track, Montverde Academy's (Fla.) Dasia Reed and Union Catholic Regional (N.J.) Paige Sheppard have each solidified themselves as the top dogs of the class on the track, while Traverse City Central's (Mich.) Lorelai Zielinski and Math and Science Academy's (Minn.) Mckaylen Lewis held their own in the field all season.
