Bobcats Head to Pocatello for Mountain States Games

 

·         Feb. 5-6          at Mountain States Games hosted by Idaho State University

·         Venue:            Holt Arena, Pocatello, Idaho

 

The Idaho State track and field team will host the Mountain States Games Friday, Feb. 5 and Saturday, Feb. 6 in Holt Arena. Teams that will be in attendance include BYU, Weber State, Montana, Montana State, MSU-Billings, College of Idaho, Utah, Utah Valley and Southern Utah.

 

The ISU meet is only one of two before the conference championships that includes the pentathlon and heptathlon events. MSU junior Asa Staven is hoping to gain an automatic NCAA bid in the meet while MSU's top female multi competitor, Sarah McGree, is out for the remainder of the season with an injury. Freshmen Jeff Mohl and Sadie McMillan have already qualified for the BSC in the multis.

 

So far, MSU has qualified 41 performances from 25 different student-athletes.
