Coming into the 2016 season, Aragon was well-known for her mid-distance strength as she won both the Brooks PR Invitational 800m (2:04.00) and the adidas Dream Mile (4:37.91). She also clocked 4:16.36 for 1500m last year, which ranked No. 5 on the U.S. all-time list.
