Dustin Cichosz called it the best moment of his life to-date. Cichosz out-jumped Northern Arizona's Charles White by one centimeter to take the gold in men's triple jump at the Big Sky Championships Saturday.
"It was a dream," Cichosz said. "I thought it was a good jump but I didn't think it was a 49. Next to getting married or having a kid, I think this would be the best moment of my life. It's something I've been working for my whole career."
Cichosz credited the rowdy Montana State crowd with helping fire him up for the final jump.
"The Bobcats are great people," Cichosz said. "They are here early and they are here till it's done. It's a great team to be on."
