Montana Standout Annie Hill Inks With Colorado

Annie Hill, a six-time state champion in Montana and 2016 winner of the Brooks PR 1-mile, has signed with the University of Colorado, the No. 2-ranked women's program in the nation, according to FloXC rankings

Hill will immediately add a sterling resume to the Buffaloes on the track, with a 1600m PB of 4:44.67 and a 3200m best of 10:14.14. She's gone 4:41.52 for the full mile and also has split an impressive time of 2:09.27 in the 800m.

Hill is coming off a superb state championship performance in May in the Class AA-B division, where she won titles in the 800m, 1600m, and 3200m and tallied a runner-up finish in the 400m.

She was fourth in the girls 1-mile race at Brooks PR in 2017. It was her third such appearance in the race since her freshman season.

But Hill's versatility also translates to cross country, where she won a Montana championship in 2015. She also PB'ed a time of 16:25.69 at 3-miles and 17:22.20 at the 5K distance.

Hill qualified for Foot Locker Nationals in 2015, finishing 22nd, and for NXN in 2016, where she finished 41st.
