#Sub4 Debate: How Can The Best Athletes Race Both Foot Locker And NXN?

Only athletes in 18 out of 50 states have the opportunity to compete at both Nike Cross Nationals and Foot Locker Nationals. Athletes in the other 32 states are forced to choose between the two national championships because most of the regional meets are on the same day! Is there any way to get the nation's best athletes to both meets?

Heartland 11/13 (IA, KS, MN, NE, ND, SD, WI)

Super weekend on Nov. 26 has Foot Locker Midwest, Foot Locker South, Foot Locker Northeast, NXN Southeast, NXN Northeast and NXN New York.

All the states represented in Foot Locker Midwest region have their NXN region on the previous two weekends in either NXN Midwest, Heartland or Southeast.

Conflicting states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia (FL South/NXN SE)

Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, DC (FL Northeast/NXN NE/NXN NY)

States that can compete at both: Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Texas (FL South/NXN South), Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin (FL Midwest/NXN NW/NXN Heartland/NXN SW)

Foot Locker West states (if they compete at NXN, they can't compete at Foot Locker): Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming
